Wee 3 trees!

Tree #1:  This is our main tree!  It has a gold and red theme complete with handmade bows by my dear Nannie!  The ornaments are a mix of red/gold and all of our special ornaments.  Wedding ornaments, collegiate ornaments, and travel ornaments.  I would leave it up year round if I could.  It just makes me happy to look at it and remember where everything came from and the memory that each ornament holds.

Tree #2:  This is the newest addition.  I call it the Red,White, Blue Tree.  It has a mix of ornaments that represent the units we have been a part of, USA ornaments, soldier ornaments and Texas themed ornaments.  We put it in our guest bedroom...which is called the "Granny" room because the bed is adorned with the beautiful quilt she hand made us for our wedding.  

Tree #3:  (not lit b/c I can't reach where it plugs in...must get extension cord!)  This is the BARBIE tree! Yes, I am a grown woman with a love for Barbie!  My Mom has been giving me Collectible Barbies and Barbie ornaments for as long as I can remember.  It is a very special tradition, and someday I hope to continue it with a special daughter!  I'd like to put all the ornaments on a pink tree with pink lights, but for now it has a home in our master bedroom and although Mark tolerates the Barbies, I'm not sure he would go for a pink tree.  Someday...
