Happy Valentines Day 2009!

This past weekend was really great! It was filled with my favorite things! I am totally OK with celebrating a "hallmark" holiday...because after all, it is something fun to celebrate. Mark started a tradition in 2007 that the day before Valentine's Day is Lulubelle day. (which=my day!)...He is so sweet! So, on Friday I got an adorable and delicious cookie bouquet delivered to my office (favorite thing 1). Friday night, Mark surprised me with a diamond necklace (diamonds-favorite 2) and a delicious meal in downtown Tacoma at Pacific Grill.

Saturday morning, we woke up early and headed down to Portland, OR for my dance kids dance competition. We stopped at Chili's in OR for lunch (favorite thing 3). This is the closest Chili's to us (97 miles away)! After Chili's, Mark headed to Starbucks to read...because, let's face it...the boy doesn't want to watch dance all day! I went to the dance competition and watched my kids that I have been teaching since September. They did great! My jazz kids won their category and my tappers won 8th overall! I am so proud of all of them! Saturday night, we found an On the Border to eat dinner at (Favorite thing 4). It was amazing!!!!! So, all in all...I'm sure you can tell it was an amazing food day! Is it bad that my trips revolve around what food I am going to eat along the way and when I get there? This could be why I am somewhat fluffy! I'm working on that.

Sunday was more dance and then driving back to WA. I'm sure you all want to know what Daisy did this weekend. Well, she went to Auntie Sara's house and played with Murphy. Sara said she was really good and really playful. Not surprising of course! :)
